Include a midlevel course on identification of the large trees(over 15′) present in our forests. How they benefit us,how they reproduce, life cycles, diseases, commercial uses. This list could be expanded or shortened to fit the situation and time of yr. It’s been my experience that most young people have very little knowledge in this area. Think arborculture students, tree wardens, liscensed professional arborists, etc. as potential contacts.
